ONE $2,000 SCHOLARSHIP & ONE $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP

55 Bradford Land Conservation is devoted to helping our community achieve excellence and success through land preservation and education opportunities. As part of that commitment, 55 Bradford is awarding two scholarships (One $2,000 Scholarship & One $1,000 Scholarship) to be applied towards college tuition and related expenses for the 2019/20 academic year. This scholarship is granted to encourage and support qualified students to pursue a career in a field related to the conservation and management of natural resources. 

ELIGIBILITY

Must be a Pennsylvania resident or enrolled or be an applicant to an accredited Pennsylvania college, university, or institution for post-secondary education.

Must be a full time student or applicant  in good standing at an accredited Pennsylvania college, university, or institution for post-secondary education.

Must be an undergraduate enrolled in a curriculum major of agriculture or natural resource conservation, including agronomy, soil science, plant science, forestry, geography, agricultural education, environmental science, wildlife or fisheries management, environmental engineering, agricultural/resource economics or other major related to conservation.

 
EVALUATION CRITERIA

Academic commitment to a field of conservation.
Demonstrated scholastic ability.

Involvement in extra curricular activities or volunteer projects related to conservation.

Financial Need.
